We are keen to offer continuing professional development to our members at all stages of their careers, so we are offering each of our members a carefully-designed package of support as part of their long-term development. 

Subject to funding, we will be offering our members a mixture of the following support tools, and we are keen to explore other ways of supporting the development of our members:

  • mentoring
  • coaching
  • shadowing
  • placements
  • buddying with more senior IDMN members

In order to support early-career producers, we have applied for funding to offer a trainee producer role, which will combine paid work, mentoring, training and placements. 

We are launching a programme of action learning sets for producers, and you can read more about it here and apply here.

We are also starting to devise a three-year producer development programme, which will also be subject to funding.
