This workshop is an opportunity to learn about creative producing and how to develop your skills as a Creative Producer from one of the dance industry's leading Creative Producers and dramaturgs, Peggy Olislaegers. 

Peggy Olislaegers has worked as Rambert’s Artistic Associate since 2015.

As one of the leading independent dance dramaturges in Europe, Peggy Olislaegers provides artistic and strategic advice for both choreographers and institutions in the performing arts. In addition to Rambert, she has worked with Dutch National Ballet (Netherlands), Balletto di Roma (Italy), The Place (UK), Ugo Dehaes (Belgium) and Nanine Linning (Germany), among others. She co-initiated the European project Act Your Age, and is one of the leading mentors of the European projects Performing Gender and Pivot Dance.

From 2010 to 2016 Peggy Olislaegers was the Artistic and General Director of the Dutch Dance Festival/de Nederlandse Dansdagen. Under her leadership the festival grew its impact, with prize-winning and innovative projects, and a growth of the festival audience.

Formally trained at the Tilburg Academy of Dance, Peggy is known for her ability to connect disciplines, and her articulate knowledge of dance and movement, from the choreographer, performer and audience point of view. Peggy has broad experience working both as a performer and creator in dance, theatre and music productions. From 1989 to 2006 she created more than 35 choreographies, both independently and in co-production with companies and festivals. She staged 3-minute operas (Yo-Opera Festival 2007), co-created Kamp Holland (Theatre Company Orkater, 2008) and staged and directed work by composer Harry de Wit (Red Sound Festival, 2009). From 2007 to 2011 she was resident dance dramaturge for Dansateliers Rotterdam. Her work has been featured in several publications.
