Roxanne has been working in both the performing arts and festival and even industries for the last eight years.
She has vast experience of pre-, on-site and post- event and project production, as well as strong producing and programming experience as part of her wide spectrum of knowledge. Roxanne has a passion and understanding of a wide range of arts, specifying in dance and circus but including, theatre, music and live-art. Roxanne’s main interests lie with multi-disciplinary projects, festivals and events, site –specific and education and community settings.
Roxanne has worked for a wide range of clients in both the performing arts and festival and event sectors.
In performing arts, Roxanne worked at National Centre for Circus Arts for a number of years as a Senior Participation and Outreach Coordinator and has most recently worked as maternity cover for the General Manager for Scarabeus Aerial Theatre.
Previous clients include: Artichoke, Dance Umbrella, The World Famous, Trinity Laban, Vocab Dance Company, and Youth Dance England.
Roxanne also works within the festivals industry working in production and performing arts management. Recent contracts include Assistant Assistant Coordinator for Silver Hayes a large area of Glastonbury Festival, Assistant to the Director and Programmer for The Social Club a theatre and cabaret venue at Shambala Festival, and Programmer and Performing Arts Manager at Illusive Festival.
Other and previous clients include: Boomtown Fair, Dalston Music Festival, Secret Garden Party and Wilderness Festival.
Roxanne is currently competing a Msc in Cultural Event Management at De Montfort University Leicester.
Roxanne Graduated from Dartington College of Arts in 2008 (BA Hons Choreography), this included a four month Contextual Enquiry Project where she discussed cultural differences in the dance sector whilst studying dance modules at Towson University, Baltimore USA.
