Judi is a freelance arts management consultant with over 26 years’ experience in management and administration of the performing arts. She graduated from De Montfort University in 1991 and then worked at Phoenix Arts Centre, Leicester until 2000, where she helped develop the live programme to be at the forefront in presenting contemporary dance and physical theatre. She supported many emerging artists through her work with New Works Festival and East Midlands Dance Services.
In 2003 Judi moved to Wales to work with Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC in South Wales as Venue Development Manager. From 2006 to 2011 she was Chair of the Creu Cymru (Creative Wales) Dance Consortium. Judi returned to freelance consultancy and over the last 7 years has worked with a number of clients including Foundation for Community Dance, Sound Affairs, Jean Abreu Dance, Welsh Independent Dance, National Dance Company Wales, Taikabox, Creu Cymru and Arts Development UK.
Judi is currently working on a 3-year contract with Creu Cymru as the Project Manager for Wales Dance Consortium. She is currently available for smaller projects and at the end of March 2017 will be available for further contracts.
