Tia Hassan has been working as an independent Dance Manager and Promoter for over three years. She has recently inititated her own arts organisation, Water Lane Projects, with the mission to promote and
present both UK and international performing arts companies for inter-cultural exchange, performance, interaction and enrichment.Water Lane Projects manages, supports and promotes new Dance/Theatre
Companiesby aiding in fundraising, developing touring opportunities, sourcing potential collaborators and assisting in artistic and business development.

Tia previously worked at the Daiwa International Butoh Festival 2005,
and is currently the Project Manager forthe China in London Festival
2008, responsible for managing70 Chinese dance artists and the
dance performance events.
