Maria Rosaria Vallesi

After completing her studies in Classical Literature in Pisa and gained a diploma in piano at an Italian conservatory, she earned  a MA in Management for the Performing arts at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy).  Since then, she has been working  for major organizations, both in Italy and in USA, at different level.  In summer 2009,  she worked at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival as Artists Service and Operation intern where she gained an invaluable experience within the dance management field.

In January 2010 she moved to London and while she is completing a work experience at IMG Artists, in Special Events Department, she is starting up her own career as freelancer dance manager. Her aim is to bring to UK an American choreographer, Kyle Abraham , and to broaden her portfolio with other European dance companies. This is a big challenge for her, but the enthusiasm and passion in producing performing art projects and deepen public appreciation for dance is driving her toward pursuing this career.
