In 2008 Joe joined forces with fellow IDMN member Claire Morton and together they trade as Morton Bates Arts Services. They currently work with a range of clients including: New Art Club; mapdance - the postgraduate performance company at University of Chichester; Laïla Diallo/Sense of Self ; Jeanefer Jean-Charles/Lads and Dads Move!; Katie Green/green bean dance; Heather Eddington/State of Flux; Yael Flexer & Nic Sandiland/Dance & Digital Works; Richard Alston Dance Company; Niki McCretton; Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company; Claire Cunningham & Jose Agudo.
Other projects have included work with EDge - The Postgraduate Performance Company of London Contemporary Dance School, Lost Dog, Bottlefed Ensemble, Zoi Dimitriou, Green Box Productions and The Keats-Shelley Association. He currently sits on the Executive Committee for the Independent Dance Managers’ Network.
