Gwen initially worked in the commercial sector in the USA and UK, before moving into arts management. She was Administrative Director for Motionhouse Dance Theatre 1992 - 1997 after which she embarked on a career as an independent arts manager, consultant and trainer. Gwen has managed a wide range of artists and companies including Charles Linehan, Ben Wright/bgroup and Nigel Charnock.
One off projects that Gwen has produced and managed include: DESTINO, a co-production between Dance United and Sadler’s Wells
that included a main-stage production at Sadler’s Wells for a cross generational cast of 130 performers with live music from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and a 10 week tour including a residency in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; and WHERE THE LAND MEETS THE SEA, conceived of especially for Big Dance 2006 and performed by a
cast of a 100 on Brighton beach at dusk on 15th July 2006.
