Eckhard Thiemann is a freelance programmer, producer, manager and consultant. He is Artistic Programme Manager for the opening season of Pavilion Dance, the new regional dance centre opening in Bournemouth in 2010, managed by Dance South West. He curated and produced OUTSPOKEN - the first season dedicated to Arab dance artists for International Dance Festival Birmingham,
28 April – 2 May 2010.

He represents Royal Opera House associate artist Laïla Diallo internationally, and works as development manager for Freddie Opoku-Addaie. He also promotes the international duet Diplomacy by Andréya Ouamba (Congo/Senegal) and Matthias Sperling (Canada/UK). Eckhard was the facilitator for the
BDE2010 Research and Project.
