In 2008 Claire joined with fellow manager Joe Bates to form Morton Bates Arts Services. Together they work with a range of clients including: Niki McCretton, Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company, Yael Flexer Nic Sandiland - Dance & Digital Works (formerly Bedlam Dance Company), New Art Club, Katie Green, Telling Tales (East Midlands Children’s Theatre Consortium), Heather Eddington/State of Flux, Jeanefer Jean Charles and Ballet Black. Previous work includes: Claire Cunningham and Jose Agudo, Laila Diallo, Influx Dance Company and Green Box Productions.
Claire is also Membership Coordinator for the Independent Dance Manager’s Network.
Claire holds a Masters Degree with Merit in Arts Management from City University, London, for which she was the recipient of an Arts Humanities Research Council Award and during which her research focused on micro-organisational operation and structures in the
dance sector.
